Sid Sriram Unveils Powerful Devotional Track “Sivanar” with Warner Music India

Chennai: Warner Music India has partnered with acclaimed singer-songwriter Sid Sriram to launch his new track “Sivanar”, a spiritual and devotional song dedicated to Lord Murugar.

This collaboration marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between Sid Sriram and WMI, aimed at transforming the Indian and global music landscape.

“Sivanar” features lyrics from the 14th-century saint poet Arunagirinathar’s revered Thiruppugazh, with music produced, arranged, and performed by Sid Sriram.

The song’s music video was filmed at the Batu Caves Murugan Temple in Kuala Lumpur during the Thaipusam festival, adding an authentic and cinematic layer to the project.

Sid Sriram said, “This collaboration with Warner Music India marks an important new chapter in my musical journey. Beginning this next phase with ‘Sivanar’ feels auspicious, as it’s a song that’s been a part of me since I was 10.”
