Mphasis Achieves ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Certification for Responsible AI Management
Mumbai: Mphasis, a leading provider of IT solutions specializing in cloud and cognitive services, has announced its achievement of the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). The certification was issued by TÜV SÜD South Asia Private Limited and accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), under India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
This milestone positions Mphasis at the forefront of responsible AI adoption, aligning its practices with globally recognized standards for ethical governance, transparency, and interoperability. The ISO/IEC 42001:2023 framework provides a structured approach to developing, deploying, and governing AI systems, addressing critical concerns such as bias, data opacity, and regulatory compliance.

The certification comes at a time when regulatory scrutiny and customer expectations around AI are intensifying. By aligning with ISO/IEC 42001:2023, Mphasis demonstrates its readiness to meet these demands while reducing risks and building trust in AI adoption.
As of Q1 FY26, AI-led deals account for 68% of Mphasis’ total new contract wins—up from 30% a year ago—highlighting the growing demand for its AI-driven solutions across cloud and cognitive service portfolios.
