The Lost Homeland of Sindh Celebrates its First Anniversary

Mumbai: The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust (TAACHT), in collaboration with The Sindhi Culture Foundation, is set to celebrate the first anniversary of The Lost Homeland of Sindh, a gallery at the Partition Museum and Cultural Hub. The event, scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2025, will feature a range of cultural activities, including guided tours, literary conversations, and soulful Sindhi music.

Event Highlights

The evening’s program will include:

  • Guided Museum Walkthrough: A tour of the gallery starting at 5:00 pm
  • Baithak: A literary conversation with Rita Kothari, Anamika, Manju Mukul, and Aanchal Malhotra in conversation with Aditya Vikram Shrivastava at 6:15 pm
  • Shah Jo Raag: A concert by Mazharuddin Ali Akbar Mutva and Friends at 7:00 pm
  • Dinner: A dinner will be served at 8:00 pm

Celebrating Sindhi Culture

The event will also mark the release of two translations by author and scholar Rita Kothari: “Kahe Latif” (Shah Abdul Latif’s poetry) and “Ittehad: A Life Together” (Guli Sadarangani’s novel).
