TVS Supply Chain Solutions Acquires Swamy & Sons 3PL to Strengthen FMCG Logistics Presence

Mumbai: TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited (TVS SCS) has announced the acquisition of Hyderabad-based logistics firm Swamy & Sons 3PL (S&S3PL) to strengthen its presence in the FMCG and fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD) supply chain segments in India.

The acquisition has been carried out through TVS SCS’ wholly owned subsidiary, FIT 3PL, for an enterprise value of ₹88 crore and will be funded through internal accruals. S&S3PL reported revenue of ₹207 crore in FY25 with a profit before tax margin of 3.2%.

S&S3PL has established strong capabilities in FMCG logistics and serves several leading brands across India, with a particularly strong operating footprint in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The company is known for managing high-volume, time-sensitive supply chains in consumption-led markets.

TVS SCS said the acquisition will enhance its national scale, sectoral coverage and regional execution capabilities, while strengthening distribution and last-mile delivery services in southern India. The transaction is expected to improve growth prospects and margins through operating synergies and the use of TVS SCS’ warehousing network of over 20 million sq ft.

Commenting on the acquisition, K Sukumar, CEO – TVS SCS India, Middle East & Africa, said the move aligns with the company’s strategy to build a high-performance supply chain platform in India. He added that S&S3PL’s regional strength and FMCG expertise would enhance TVS SCS’ ability to serve large customers and scale warehousing and third-party logistics operations.

Arun Swamy, Promoter of Swamy & Sons, said the partnership would provide S&S3PL access to scale, systems and governance of a global supply chain organisation, enabling expansion into new geographies. He will continue to lead the company and oversee a smooth transition following the acquisition.

TVS SCS stated that the acquisition further consolidates its position as a leading integrated supply chain services provider in India, particularly in fast-growing consumption-driven sectors.
