Walmart Vriddhi to Empower 100,000 MSMEs for Business Growth

Walmart’s supplier development program, Walmart Vriddhi, has partnered with Ideas to Impact Foundation (i2i) to empower an additional 100,000 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India over the next three years. The program aims to provide MSMEs with digital tools, personalized mentorship, and market access to expand their reach both nationally and internationally.

Program Details

• Digital Learning: The program combines digital learning with business tools to modernize, scale, and grow MSME businesses.
• Market Access: Participants will gain access to cross-border trade via Walmart Marketplace and integrate into supply chains.
• Personalized Mentorship: MSMEs will receive personalized mentorship and strategic partnerships to support sustainable business models.

Since its launch in 2019, Walmart Vriddhi has trained over 70,000 MSMEs, with graduates experiencing approximately 55% year-on-year growth. The program has enabled MSMEs to access digital commerce, personalized mentorship, and strategic partnerships.
