24-Year-Old Taiwanese Student Wins ‘World’s Best Coder’ Title at TCS CodeVita 2025
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the winners of its global coding contest, TCS CodeVita 2025, at a grand finale held at the TCS Siruseri campus in Chennai. Jeffrey Ho, a 24-year-old Taiwanese student, took home the winning title and a cash prize of $10,000.
TCS CodeVita, in its 12th edition, attracted over 537,000 registrations from 96 countries, making it the world’s largest computer programming competition, as recognized by Guinness World Records. The competition promotes coding awareness among students and offers a platform for them to showcase their skills.
The top three winners were:
- Jeffrey Ho, 24, from Taiwan (Winner) – $10,000
- Martin Andrighetti, 24, from Chile (Runner-up) – $7,000
- Ignacio Munoz, 22, from Chile (Second Runner-up) – $3,000
Ankitha Varma, 20, from India, was recognized as the Top Woman Coder, while Zhou Jingkai, 19, from China, was awarded the Top Emerging Coder title.
