GIRI Opens 39th Showroom on MG Road in Puducherry
Puducherry: GIRI, a retailer of spiritual and religious products, has opened its 39th showroom on MG Road in Puducherry, opposite the Shri Vedapuriswarar Temple.
Located at No. 101, MG Road, the upgraded showroom opened to the public on September 25 at 10 am. The new outlet is part of GIRI’s 74-year history of serving customers in India and abroad.
The showroom offers a range of pooja essentials, idols, festival products, organic foods, handicrafts, Golu dolls and stands, yantras, garlands, spiritual books and music, and traditional attire.
The outlet was inaugurated by Puducherry Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy, who attended the event as the chief guest. Vignesh Kannan, MLA; Sri Vishwa Linga Tambiran of Madurai Adheenam; and Vedanta Ananda, General Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Sannyasi Sangam, were among those present.
Rangaswamy said the availability of spiritual products under one roof would benefit people in Puducherry and noted the significance of the showroom’s location near the Shri Vedapuriswarar Temple.
Sri Vishwa Linga Tambiran said efforts should be made to preserve and nurture Dharma and extended his blessings for GIRI’s continued expansion.
According to GIRI Trading Agency Private Limited, the new showroom is intended to serve as a space for families, devotees and visitors to engage with traditional products and cultural activities, including festivals and community events.
