HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G Launched in India, Priced from ₹14,999
Mumbai: HMD has launched the HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G smartphone in India, expanding its Vibe2 series with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, 64MP Sony camera and 120Hz FHD+ display.
The smartphone will be available on Flipkart from October 8, 2026, coinciding with the platform’s Big Billion Days sale.
Key specifications
The HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits typical brightness. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The phone comes in 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB variants, with expandable storage of up to 512GB through a microSD card.
For photography, the device has a 64MP Sony IMX 682 rear camera, accompanied by a 2MP micro sensor, along with a 13MP front camera.
A 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging powers the smartphone. The compatible charger is included in the box. The device runs Android 16.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, dual microphones, USB Type-C connectivity and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone will be available in Silver Mist, Aqua Green and Cosmic Purple.
India-focused features
HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G includes Indus by Sarvam AI, an AI assistant designed to support 22 Indian languages, with its servers and data hosted in India.
The device also supports the Sanchar Saathi government platform, although installation of the app remains optional.
HMD said its service network covers more than 200 care centres, with pickup-and-drop support across more than 18,000 pin codes.
The existing HMD Vibe2 5G lineup will also receive a new Wine Red colour option.
Price and availability
The HMD Vibe2 Pro 5G 6GB/128GB variant is priced at a special launch price of ₹14,999, while the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at ₹16,999.
Both variants, along with the Wine Red HMD Vibe2 5G, will go on sale through Flipkart from October 8, 2026.
