MGM Dizzee World Hosts Thrilling Social Media Contest
Chennai: MGM Dizzee World, a popular amusement park in Chennai, recently concluded a social media contest that drew in over 500 creators and 1.13 lakh+ summer visitors. The contest, which ran from April 11 to May 31, challenged participants to create viral Instagram Reels showcasing the park’s roller coasters and other attractions.
The contest culminated in a felicitation ceremony where the top 10 winners were announced. Mariyam Ansari took home the first prize of ₹2,00,000, followed by Saraswathi with ₹1,00,000 for second place, and Sharan Kumar G with ₹60,000 for third place. Seven consolation prizes of ₹20,000 each were also awarded to standout entries.
The event celebrated the evolution of storytelling, where visitors turned everyday park moments into digital experiences that reached thousands online. The team at MGM Dizzee World said, “We didn’t just create a contest — we created a movement. We wanted to give people a reason to come out, have fun, and share joy. And what better way than rewarding them for simply being creative?”
With the success of this contest, MGM Dizzee World is planning to launch more creator-led initiatives in the near future. The park aims to stay at the forefront of amusement and imagination, blurring the lines between real-world adventure and digital content.
