India’s Gaming Revolution Goes Global: Bharat Tech Triumph Program Season 3 Announces Winners

Mumbai: The Bharat Tech Triumph Program (BTTP) has announced the winners of its third edition, selecting 20 game developers from over 1000 entries. The program, a collaboration between WinZO Games, Interactive Entertainment and Innovation Council (IEIC), DPIIT, MIB, and industry experts, aims to promote India’s gaming sector globally.

The winners will showcase their games at prominent international events, including GDC 2025 (San Francisco), Start-Up Mahakumbh (Delhi), and WAVES (Mumbai), providing a platform for Indian game developers to access global markets.

This edition of BTTP drew participation from diverse gaming studios, indie developers, students, and tech startups across India. The program is aligned with the Indian government’s vision of promoting “Made in India for the World” technology and IP.

Paavan Nanda, Co-Founder of WinZO Games, stated, “BTTP has established itself as a key platform to unlock the potential of Indian game developers. We aim to provide support, global exposure, and mentoring to help them scale their products.”

The Indian gaming sector is poised for exponential growth, with a projected market size of USD 60 billion by 2034. The BTTP is a direct response to this opportunity, designed to position India as a global leader in interactive entertainment, gaming technology, and indigenous IP creation.
