BluPine Energy Signs 25-Year PPA with SECI for 150 MW Solar Project
Mumbai: BluPine Energy, a leading renewable energy services company in India, has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 150 MW solar project integrated with Energy Storage System (ESS) in Rajasthan.
The solar power project will be established in Bikaner district, Rajasthan, and is part of SECI’s initiative to procure 2,000 MW of power generated from ISTS-connected Solar Power Projects with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh Energy Storage Systems.
“We are deeply committed to powering India’s decarbonization journey through reliable, round-the-clock renewable energy,” said Neerav Nanavaty, CEO, BluPine Energy. “Our 150 MW solar project with integrated energy storage in Rajasthan is designed to deliver firm and dispatchable clean power.”
The project aligns with India’s ambitious target to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil-based installed energy capacity by 2030 and supports grid stability and reliability through energy storage integration, as mandated by the Ministry of Power in February 2025.
