CeraVe Launches ‘Derm On-The-Go’ Initiative for Accessible Skin Health

Bangalore: CeraVe, the #1 dermatologist-recommended skincare brand in the US, has introduced the ‘Derm On-The-Go’ initiative to provide Indian consumers with access to science-backed skincare expertise. The program aims to democratize access to dermatologists, equip consumers with expert skincare knowledge, and promote healthy skincare habits.

The initiative features one-on-one consultations with over 100 dermatologists, interactive on-campus activations, and digital engagements in high-density areas across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. CeraVe’s CeraVan (mobile buses) and CeraKiosk (static kiosks) will provide skincare education and consultations at college campuses. The program has already completed over 1,500 free consultations and attracted 15,000 footfall in Mumbai and Delhi.

India faces a significant shortage of dermatologists, with a dermatologist-to-consumer ratio of just 0.7 per 100,000. The ‘Derm On-The-Go’ program seeks to address this gap by providing consumers with access to expert skincare advice and education. According to Rami Itani, Director of L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, L’Oréal India, “CeraVe wants to empower every Indian to make informed skincare choices.”

Dr. Siddhi Tiwari, MD DNB Dermatology, emphasizes the importance of the initiative, stating that it brings expert guidance directly to consumers, helping prevent long-term skin damage and fostering a generation of well-informed skincare consumers. By providing science-backed expertise, the ‘Derm On-The-Go’ program aims to empower consumers to prioritize their skin health and make informed skincare choices.
