Coromandel International Launches its 1000th Gromor Retail Store

Mumbai: Coromandel International Limited, one of India’s leading agri-solutions providers, has marked a major milestone with the inauguration of its 1000th Gromor retail store in Kashti Village, Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra. The store, named ‘Apla Gromor’, represents Coromandel’s deepening engagement with India’s farming community and growing footprint in the region. With this expansion, Coromandel’s retail network now serves over 3 million farmers across five states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.

Comprehensive Agri-Solutions and Services

Each Gromor retail store serves as a one-stop destination for farmers, offering a complete range of agri-inputs, including bulk, specialty, and organic fertilizers, crop protection, biologicals, cattle feed, and farm implements. The stores also provide value-added services such as soil and carbon testing, agronomy support, drone spraying services, and farmer-focused insurance. On average, each center caters to over 1000-1500 farmers across 10–15 villages.

Digital Solutions and Future Plans

The Gromor retail network is complemented by digital solutions like the MyGromor app, which offers farm-specific advisory, product pricing, and image-based pest and disease detection. With over 1 million users, the app already drives 15% of store sales. Coromandel plans to double its retail footprint over the next two years, further deepening its farmer connect and creating sustainable value for rural communities. According to Arun Alagappan, Executive Chairman, Coromandel International, “The inauguration of our 1000th ‘My Gromor’ store is a proud milestone in Coromandel’s journey of serving and enabling India’s farmers.”
