Dassault Systèmes Announces the 14th Edition of AAKRUTI as the National Product Design Competition for Students in India Goes Global
AAKRUTI Global 2024 expands beyond India to 11 new countries
Initial design submission and final product submission close on September 6, 2024
Bengaluru: Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: FR0014003TT8, DSY.PA) today announced AAKRUTI Global 2024, an annual nationwide product design contest for engineering, design and technology students in India is now going global. The event is expanding to 11 more countries: South Africa, Poland, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Turkey and Thailand. AAKRUTI Global 2024 aims to provide students worldwide with an opportunity to come up with innovative solutions to address both the technological and social challenges of tomorrow.
The theme for AAKRUTI Global 2024 revolves around sustainable products for human wellness, sustainable habitat and city infrastructure, green energy generation, transmission, and storage, and sustainable mobility. The challenge consists of three stages: preparing product design, initial design concept submission, and final product submission. Participants will create a project virtually through online collaboration enabled by Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Through this competition, students gain exposure to the latest technologies and trends offered by Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Works portfolio, SOLIDWORKS applications, and 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
AAKRUTI has been running successfully since 2011. This year, AAKRUTI 2024 is transcending borders, inviting students from engineering, design, architecture, management, social sciences, and medical sciences to join the international celebration of innovation. Registration for AAKRUTI Global 2024 has started. Key milestones include the initial design concept submission and the final product design submission, which closes on September 6, 2024, leading up to the finals on November 15, 2024. The contest is supported by teams from Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Edu and SOLIDWORKS.
