FICCI HR Conclave 2025 Opens on a Promising Note
Chennai: The 4th edition of FICCI Annual HR Conclave 2025 on HR 5.0: Evolving People, Powering Progress kicked off in Chennai, with industry experts and thought leaders discussing the latest trends and innovations in human resources. Dr. G S K Velu, Chairman of FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council, set the tone for the conclave, highlighting the alignment of traditional HR practices with new technologies to meet the evolving needs of organizations and society.
HR’s Critical Role in Business Growth
Dr. Velu emphasized the importance of HR in driving business growth and promoting values of empathy and compassion through human connections. N R Mani, Convenor of FICCI Tamil Nadu HR Panel, noted that HR 5.0 focuses on human-centered technology, and the Tamil Nadu government is supportive of industrial progress in the state. He added that the goal of HR professionals is to build confidence and act as architects of agility and development.
Government Support for Skill Development
K Veera Raghava Rao, Secretary of Labour Welfare and Skill Development Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, lauded FICCI for organizing the conclave and encouraged experts to share their HR best practices. He highlighted the state’s focus on skill development, MSME industries, and higher education, with the aim of making Tamil Nadu a one trillion dollar economy by 2030.
