The strategic move underscores Flipkart’s commitment to building advanced Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities at a time when online retail is rapidly shifting towards visual-first, conversational, and AI-led discovery.
The acquisition is expected to accelerate Flipkart’s transition to a more intuitive, interactive, and immersive shopping experience. Minivet AI specializes in generative video for e-commerce, transforming static product catalogs into dynamic, engaging video content at scale. Its proprietary platform, built on sophisticated model orchestration and deep performance optimization, delivers high-quality results at a fraction of traditional production costs.
