ASME Announces Distinguished Global Lineup for IMECE India 2025
Chennai: The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) has announced a stellar lineup of speakers for the first-ever India edition of the International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE), set to take place in Hyderabad from September 10-13, 2025. The event will bring together leading innovators, academic experts, industry pioneers, and government leaders from across the globe to share knowledge, expertise, and innovations in mechanical engineering.
Keynote Speakers and Sessions
The keynote roster features globally recognized leaders, including Dr. Babasaheb Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Forge Group; Tom Costabile, Executive Director & CEO, ASME; and Dr. Lester K. Su, President, ASME (2025-2026). Other notable speakers include Dr. Kalaiselvi N., Director General, CSIR & Secretary, DSIR; Pawan Kumar Chandana, Founder of Skyroot Aerospace; and Shivkumar Kalayanaraman, CEO of ANRF. The congress will also feature a landmark session titled “Turning the Gears: Women Shaping the Future of Mechanical Engineering” to spotlight leadership and gender parity within the profession.
