Greaves Electric Mobility Partners with Perpetuity Capital to Boost EV Financing Across India

Bengaluru: Greaves Electric Mobility Ltd., a pioneer in India’s electric vehicle sector with eight national records to its name, has announced a strategic partnership with Perpetuity Capital, a non-banking financial company specializing in vehicle financing. This collaboration aims to expand affordable retail financing options for GEML’s entire electric two-wheeler (E2W) and three-wheeler (E3W) portfolio, thereby accelerating EV adoption across the country.

Through this partnership, GEML customers can now access financing solutions with interest rates starting at 9.99% for E2Ws and 11% for E3Ws. The offering includes flexible EMI plans and funding of up to 90% of the vehicle cost, making electric mobility more accessible to a broader customer base.

Manoj M. P., Chief Business Officer at GEML, emphasized the company’s commitment to democratizing India’s EV journey. “Our focus has been on building a strong EV ecosystem backed by innovation and engineering excellence. This partnership with Perpetuity Capital strengthens our retail finance offerings and supports our mission to make EVs more accessible, practical, and empowering for communities across India,” he said.

As GEML continues to expand its retail footprint, the partnership is expected to drive affordability, support dealer sales, and enhance EV accessibility for a wider audience. The initiative aligns with GEML’s broader vision of enabling sustainable mobility solutions tailored to India’s diverse needs.

Karamveer Singh Dhillon, Founder and CEO of Perpetuity Capital, noted, “Our collaboration with Greaves Electric Mobility is a step toward democratizing credit access for drivers and entrepreneurs at the heart of India’s EV transition. We aim to blend financial inclusion with environmental impact to foster sustainable growth.”

Backed by Greaves’ 165-year engineering legacy and over 17 years of EV expertise, GEML continues to deliver durable, high-performance mobility solutions. Its vehicles feature advanced technologies such as LFP batteries, dual frame chassis, 7” TFT touchscreens with full map navigation, and class-leading features like Distance-to-Empty (DTE) in its three-wheelers.

This tie-up is expected to make award-winning models like the Ampere electric scooter and the nationally recognized Greaves 3 Wheelers more accessible, reinforcing GEML’s commitment to delivering mobility solutions that are engineered to outperform, outlast, and outshine.
