Andhra Pradesh and CreativeLand Asia Partner to Establish India’s First Transmedia Entertainment City

Mumbai: The Government of Andhra Pradesh and CreativeLand Asia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop India’s first Transmedia Entertainment City, Creatorland, in Andhra Pradesh. This partnership was announced at the WAVES Summit in Mumbai.

  • Immersive Theme Parks: Creatorland will feature immersive theme parks, gaming zones, and global cinema co-production zones.
  • Job Creation and Skill Development: The project is expected to create 150,000+ new jobs and skill 10,000+ youth every year in AI, VFX, gaming, and immersive storytelling.
  • Investment: The project will attract investments between Rs 8,000-10,000 crore over 5-6 years.

Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism and Entertainment, Government of Andhra Pradesh stated, “This MOU is more than an infrastructure project, it is a commitment to creating an enabling ecosystem for talent, innovation, and tourism.”

Sajan Raj Kurup, Founder & Chairman, Creativeland Asia said, “Creatorland is more than a destination, it is a creative movement. By joining hands with the visionary leadership of Andhra Pradesh, we are building the future of entertainment, education, and innovation.”

The Creatorland project is expected to boost the entertainment economy, transform visitor experiences, and establish Andhra Pradesh as a hub for digital creativity, employment, and cultural diplomacy.
