JPFL Films Becomes India’s First Packaging Manufacturer to Launch BOPA Nylon Films, Invests ₹120 Crore

Mumbai: JPFL Films Private Limited, a subsidiary of Jindal Poly Films Ltd, has launched Biaxially Oriented Polyamide (BOPA) Nylon films in India, marking a significant milestone in the country’s packaging industry.

The company has invested ₹120 crore in its state-of-the-art facility in Nasik to produce BOPA Nylon films, which offer improved mechanical properties and aroma barrier. This innovation is expected to bring solutions across pharma, medical, FMCG, and food applications.

Key Features of BOPA Nylon Films:

  • Isotropicity: Produced using exclusive Japanese double bubble film technology, ensuring dimensional stability, puncture resistance, and homogeneity.
  • High-Speed Printing: Suitable for high-speed printing, making it an ideal solution for various industries.
  • Aroma and Gas Barrier: Effective barrier for aroma and gases, enhancing the shelf life of products.
