Juniper Green Energy Commissions 145.99 MWp Solar Project in Maharashtra
Mumbai: Juniper Green Energy has announced the early commissioning of a 145.99 MWp / 100 MW solar power project in Chapalgaon, Maharashtra. The project, which will supply power to MSEDCL, was commissioned on May 22, 2025, an impressive 19 months ahead of the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date.
The project was commissioned within 2.5 months of signing the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) on March 7, 2025. Juniper Green Energy’s proactive approach enabled them to deliver the project ahead of schedule, supporting India’s grid reliability and renewable energy goals.

The Chapalgaon solar project will operate at a full capacity of 145.99 MWp from its commissioning. Juniper Green Energy’s early land acquisition, comprehensive technical and environmental due diligence, and grid connection permits ensured a seamless process and enabled the project’s success.
