Justice at the Heart of Peace: Big Conversations Coming to Chennai
Former President Ram Nath Kovind to inaugurate “10th Annual Peace and Reconciliation Conference 2025” on April 11
Chennai: The 10th Peace and Reconciliation Conference, hosted by Sri Vishnu Mohan Foundation (SVMF) and Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation, begins on April 11 at the VMCC Hall, Paiyanoor, near Chennai, and runs through April 13. The three-day gathering focuses on the powerful theme “Peace is Born of Justice.”
Former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will inaugurate the event, which brings together over 60 speakers from across the world—leaders from diplomacy, spirituality, education, law, activism, and media. For a decade, the Sri Vishnu Mohan Foundation, under the guidance of Swami Shrihariprasad, has built this platform as a space for thoughtful conversations on peace, justice, and reconciliation.
The conference has consistently brought together diverse voices—across generations, disciplines, and worldviews—to move from dialogue to meaningful change.
This year’s sessions will explore issues such as cybersecurity, education, corruption, AI and justice, civil society, migration, post-conflict peacebuilding, and more.
Keynote addresses will be delivered by:
Swami Shrihariprasad, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sri Vishnu Mohan Foundation, Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan, Vice President, BJP and former Vice Chancellor, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Ambassador T.S. Tirumurti, former Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations
Special sessions like the Conclave of Consuls, Conclave of Religious Representatives, and the Student Innovation Forum will bring together regional, spiritual, and youth-driven insights.
The valedictory address will be delivered by Prof. C.T. Indra, former Head of the Department of English, University of Madras.
