Puravankara Pledges to Plant 1 Million Trees by 2030

Bengaluru: Puravankara Limited, a leading Indian real estate developer, has pledged to plant 1 million trees by 2030 as part of the World Economic Forum’s Trillion Tree Movement 1t.org. This initiative aims to increase green cover, restore biodiversity, sequester carbon, and support local ecosystems.

Key Highlights:

  • 1 million trees to be planted in and around Bengaluru by 2030
  • Expected to absorb approximately 25,000,000 kg of carbon annually
  • Initiative will provide essential ecosystem services, such as pollination, water conservation, and soil preservation
  • Puravankara has already planted 62,000 trees across Bengaluru as part of its CSR initiatives
