5,700 Young Prodigies Dazzle at SIP Abacus International Competition 2025 in Chennai

Chennai: The SIP Abacus International Prodigy Competition 2025 witnessed an extraordinary display of mental agility and youthful brilliance as over 5,700 children from India and 11 other countries gathered at the Chennai Trade Centre for a day of intellectual celebration.

Organized by SIP Academy India, the event brought together children aged 6 to 12, along with their parents and mentors, to showcase exceptional mental arithmetic skills honed through the SIP Abacus program. Participants solved complex calculations in seconds, demonstrating the power of focus, discipline, and structured learning.

The competition was graced by distinguished Chief Guests Padma Kumar E.S., Director of Satish Dhawan Space Centre, and Bandi Gangadhar, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police, who lauded the young minds for their dedication and encouraged them to pursue their dreams with confidence.

Dinesh Victor, Managing Director of SIP Academy, remarked, “Today’s competition reaffirms our belief that every child has limitless potential when guided with the right tools and encouragement.” Director of SIP Abacus, Sibi Shekhar, extended heartfelt thanks to partners, trainers, and parents, emphasizing the collective effort behind the event’s success.

The vibrant venue echoed with cheers and pride as winners were celebrated, while every participant was applauded for embodying determination and the joy of learning. Notably, children from Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns also participated, reinforcing SIP Academy’s commitment to inclusive education.

Recognized four times in the Limca Book of Records, the SIP Abacus Prodigy Competition remains one of the world’s largest platforms for young talent. Since 2003, SIP Academy has impacted over one million children across 350 towns and 11 countries through its programs including SIP Abacus, GlobalArt, and MiKids.

The 2025 edition concluded with proud smiles and the promise of nurturing many more young geniuses in the years ahead.
