Source India 2026 Inaugurated in Chennai, Focus on Strengthening Electronics Supply Chain

Chennai: The 15th edition of Source India – Electronics Supply Chain, organised by ELCINA, was inaugurated at the Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam, bringing together key stakeholders from India’s fast-growing electronics manufacturing ecosystem.

The inaugural session was attended by Dr. Sasikumar Gendham, President, ELCINA; Dr. T.R.B. Rajaa, Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries; Mr. Arun Roy, IAS, Secretary, Industries Department; and Mr. Atul Lall, Vice Chairman & MD, Dixon Technologies.

Speakers highlighted India’s growing global role in electronics manufacturing and the need to move toward value creation, localisation and stronger supply chain ecosystems. The Minister emphasised Tamil Nadu’s focus on advanced manufacturing, complex components and design capabilities to attract global investments and create high-quality jobs.

During the event, ELCINA released its report titled “Tamil Nadu’s Electronics Industry – Status and Growth of the Industry.”
The two-day B2B platform, themed “Vision 2030: Powering India’s Rise as the World’s Electronics Engine,” features industry discussions, buyer–seller meetings and sessions on semiconductors, EV electronics, AI, telecom, exports and supply chain development.

With strong participation from domestic and global companies, Source India 2026 reinforces Tamil Nadu’s position as a leading electronics manufacturing and export hub.
