His Holiness was welcomed with a traditional Poorna Kumbham ceremony and Veda Gosham by Vidyarthees of the Athur Veda Patasahala. P. Suresh, Managing Director of Arun Excello, and Arun Suresh were present to participate in the auspicious event.

Ziva Active Retirement Community, spread across 20 acres, has been operational since 2020 and currently houses around 400 senior citizens. The community provides comprehensive support for residents, including food, healthcare, safety, and facility management.

The campus features a well-equipped Club House with modern amenities such as a state-of-the-art kitchen, air-conditioned dining hall, swimming pool, physiotherapy room, doctor consultation room with day care centre, mini supermarket, pharmacy, library, indoor and outdoor gyms, and recreational spaces including billiards, carrom, and reading pods. It also includes an acoustically treated air-conditioned multipurpose hall with a seating capacity of 500.

Adding to its holistic environment, Ziva also houses a Siva Vishnu Temple and a Gau Shala that shelters and cares for 150 native breed cows.

During his visit, Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal was led in a vibrant procession with chants of “Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara” to the temple, followed by a visit to the Gau Shala, where he lovingly fed cows and calves. He expressed appreciation for Ziva’s green, pollution-free surroundings and commended the initiative for creating a spiritually and culturally enriching space for senior living.

His Holiness inaugurated the Maitri Hall, a new cultural centre designed to accommodate 500 residents. In his Anugraha Bhashan, he emphasized the importance of preserving Bharatiya traditions, studying and working within India, and safeguarding ancient temples. He encouraged residents to read sacred texts such as the Bhagavatam, Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Devaram, and Prabandham to foster devotion and national responsibility.

Interacting warmly with residents, he enquired about their native places and distributed Prasadam. He also acknowledged the contributions of over 200 support staff from nearby villages, appreciating their traditional attire and cultural values. His Holiness lauded Arun Excello’s dharmic commitment to elder care and praised the management’s efforts in building a nurturing ecosystem.
