Titan Company Celebrates Mother’s Day with “Aage Badhegi” Campaign

Chennai: Titan Company Limited has launched a powerful campaign, “Aage Badhegi,” to celebrate Mother’s Day, honoring mothers’ literacy revival journeys. The campaign revolves around Titan Kanya, the company’s flagship CSR initiative, which has transformed the lives of over 74,000 girls and women in FY24 across India’s underserved regions.

Titan Kanya focuses on structured education, providing remedial education, life skills, scholarships, and STEM learning. The program has reached districts across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. Through its partnership with IIMPACT, Titan Kanya has trained women educators and built bridges between schools, homes, and communities.

The campaign features a creative film celebrating the power of literacy and the evolving role of daughters in fostering education for their mothers. The film showcases women who, despite being deprived of formal education, have chosen to rewrite their stories. Conceptualized by Ogilvy and produced by Superfly Films, “Aage Badhegi” poignantly narrates the story of mothers reclaiming their right to learn for themselves and their daughters.

N E Sridhar, Chief Sustainability Officer, Titan Company Limited said, “Our decade-long partnership with IIMPACT and the Titan Kanya initiatives to empower women has played a crucial role in augmenting education at the grassroots level, across rural economies.”

“This campaign is our tribute to them, to their courage, their grit, and their unwavering belief that it’s never too late to learn.” said Sirish Chandrashekar, Marketing Head – Corporate Brand, Titan Company Limited.

The Mothers’ Literacy Program, launched in partnership with IIMPACT, is an extension of the Titan Kanya mission, empowering the girl child through education. Titan has created structured literacy modules tailored for women who had never stepped into a classroom.
