Flipkart Strengthens Leadership Team With Senior Appointments in Finance and HR
Chennai, February 9, 2026: Flipkart Group has announced two senior leadership appointments to strengthen its finance and people functions. Vipin Kapooria has rejoined the company as Vice President – Business Finance, while Yogita Shanbhag has been appointed Vice President – Human Resources.
Vipin Kapooria will lead business finance across Flipkart’s categories, focusing on financial discipline, operational efficiency and sustainable growth. A Chartered Accountant with over 19 years of experience, he has previously held leadership roles at OYO, Yum! Brands and Blinkit, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
Yogita Shanbhag will head the HR function for Flipkart’s OneTech Business Unit, supporting its technology and innovation teams. She brings over 20 years of experience from Juniper Networks and Wipro, with expertise in talent strategy, organisational design and employee engagement.
Seema Nair, Chief Human Resources Officer at Flipkart, said the appointments reflect the company’s ongoing focus on strengthening leadership depth and organisational capability to support long-term growth.
Vipin Kapooria said he looks forward to driving strong financial partnerships and sustainable performance, while Yogita Shanbhag emphasised the importance of building strong people systems, culture and leadership as organisations scale.
