Tamil Thalaivas Announce Leadership Duo for Season 12
Chennai: Tamil Thalaivas has announced Pawan Sehrawat as the Captain and Arjun Deshwal as the Vice-Captain for Season 12 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). Pawan, widely celebrated as the High Flyer of PKL, is one of the most dynamic players in the league’s history. He was signed by Tamil Thalaivas for ₹2.26 crores in Season 9 and has brought pride to the nation, winning gold medals at the 2019 South Asian Games and the 2023 Asian Kabaddi Championship.
A Formidable Leadership Core
Arjun Deshwal, the Raid Machine of PKL, joins Pawan in leadership. Arjun is a decorated raider and currently serves as a DSP in the Uttar Pradesh police force. He won a gold medal with the Indian national team at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Together, Pawan and Arjun form a formidable leadership core, inspiring the team to deliver their best on the mat.
New Kit Unveiled
Tamil Thalaivas also unveiled their primary kit for Season 12, featuring an all-blue design with striking gold accents. The kit represents the team’s renewed energy and ambition, with gold signifying the ultimate target of bringing home the biggest prize in kabaddi.
