Chennai: As Chennai prepares to celebrate Madras Day, Taj Coromandel’s iconic South Indian specialty restaurant, Southern Spice, invites guests on a deliciously nostalgic culinary journey through the city’s rich heritage. The restaurant has curated a special a la carte menu that showcases the diverse food traditions and timeless flavors of the Coromandel Coast.

The menu features a range of traditional dishes, including comforting rasams, crispy fritters, and flavorful curries. Guests can savor classics like Merina Meen Varuval, Chicken 65, and Kasimedu Yeral Peratal, as well as street-side favorites like Marina Bhaji and Thalicha Sundal. The main course offers a rich medley of flavors, with dishes like Rayapuram Fish Curry, Adyar Kozhi Tawa Fry, and Attukal Paya.
