Congruence Holdings Plans 300 Outlets Across South India by 2028
Chennai: Chennai-based consumer technology company Congruence Holdings plans to expand its network from 30 retail and service formats in Tamil Nadu to 300 outlets across South India by 2028, as part of its expansion into major cities in the region.
The company operates across different stages of the consumer electronics lifecycle, including retail, repair, device protection, buyback, refurbishment, accessories, distribution and technology services.
Its portfolio includes GoGizmo, GoFix, GoCare, GoCashin, GoRenew, GoPulse, GoAlliance and GoStack, with each brand focused on different areas of the consumer technology ecosystem.
Expansion of GoGizmo and GoFix Formats
As part of the expansion, Congruence Holdings plans to add more integrated GoGizmo-GoFix stores and introduce standalone premium GoFix Service & Experience Centres.
The company plans to initially establish five premium GoFix centres each in Chennai and Bengaluru. The centres will provide multi-brand third-party repair services and are designed to include dedicated reception and help desks, customer lounges with charging facilities, accessories sections, live service desks, technician workstations and backend repair infrastructure.
The company said the new format is intended to provide customers with greater visibility into the repair process and a more organised service environment.
New Corporate Office in Chennai
Congruence Holdings also opened its new corporate office in Chennai on August 21. The facility was inaugurated by AM Shajahan, Minister for Minorities Welfare (Minorities Welfare and Wakf Board), Government of Tamil Nadu, in the presence of Sharfudeen, COO, BAZ Group of Companies.
Government representatives, business leaders, partners and employees attended the inauguration.
Focus on Device Lifecycle
Congruence Holdings entered consumer-facing retail through GoGizmo in 2017 and launched GoFix in 2022. Since then, the company has expanded into multiple segments of the consumer electronics lifecycle.
Its current portfolio covers retail, multi-brand repair and diagnostics, device protection, buyback, refurbished technology, accessories, distribution, and technology and data solutions.
Mohammed Rafi Sait, Managing Director, Congruence Holdings, said the company’s expansion is focused on building an integrated ecosystem covering the different stages of device ownership, including purchase, protection, repair, resale, refurbishment and upgrading.
He also highlighted the company’s plans for standalone GoFix Service & Experience Centres, saying that transparency and customer trust would be key elements of the new service format.
Congruence Holdings said its longer-term objective is to maintain a relationship with customers throughout the lifecycle of their electronic devices rather than focusing only on individual transactions.
