Erbe Launches VIO® Seal at IASGCON 2025: A New Era in Bipolar Electrosurgery
Chennai: Erbe Elektromedizin GmbH unveiled its latest innovation—the VIO® seal—at IASGCON 2025 in Chennai. Introduced by Dr. C. Palanivelu, Chairman of GEM Hospital, the VIO® seal is the first electrosurgical generator in the VIO® family dedicated entirely to bipolar applications.
Designed for precision and versatility, the VIO® seal supports standard bipolar tools, the advanced BiClamp® system, and the new TriSect Rapide® dissector. It offers tailored energy modes—thermoSECT, biCLAMP®, and thermoSEAL®—for consistent, tissue-specific outcomes.
The system also enables simultaneous bipolar activation when paired with another VIO® generator, enhancing co-surgeon workflows and surgical efficiency.
