Chennais Amirta Sweeps SICA 2025 with 26 Golds and ₹15.4 Lakh Awards
Chennai: Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management hosted the prestigious SICA Gold Gala 2025, celebrating an extraordinary achievement at the South India Culinary Association Competition (SICA 2025). The institute’s students clinched an impressive 26 Gold Medals, marking a proud moment for the campuses across Chennai, Bangalore, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad.
The competition saw participation from over 3,200 culinary talents from India and abroad. Students from Chennais Amirta stood out with their exceptional skills in Butter Carving, Pastry Art, Mocktail Making, and Food Production, showcasing world-class culinary artistry.
Hon’ble Minister Mr. T. Mano Thangaraj graced the event and personally felicitated Gold Medalist Jinilin J Allen, adding to the celebratory spirit of the occasion. In recognition of the students’ outstanding performance, Chairman Mr. R. Boomee Naathan awarded ₹15.4 lakhs in cash prizes, commending their dedication and excellence.
