Flipkart Minutes Launches 10-Minute Delivery in Chennai, Boosts Hyperlocal Access and Regional Inclusion
Chennai: Flipkart, India’s leading e-commerce marketplace, has announced the launch of its quick commerce service, Flipkart Minutes, in Chennai. The expansion marks a major step in Flipkart’s commitment to delivering daily essentials within 10 minutes, offering consumers speed, convenience, and a wide regional assortment across categories.
Flipkart Minutes is now operational across 22 key locations in Chennai, including Velachery, Royapettah, Perambur, Saidapet, and Avadi. The service enables rapid delivery of a broad range of products—from packaged food and personal care to mobiles, electronics, and large appliances—through strategically placed Micro Fulfilment Centers (MFCs).
Leveraging local consumer insights, Flipkart Minutes features a curated selection of popular regional brands such as Aavin, Arokya, and Hatsun, making everyday essentials more relevant and accessible to Chennai’s diverse consumer base.
The initiative also strengthens Flipkart’s partnership with over a thousand local sellers and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), ensuring the availability of fresh produce while promoting sustainable growth for farming communities. Powered by AI-driven demand forecasting and robust supply chain networks, Flipkart Minutes supports hyperlocal delivery and long-term inclusion of small businesses in the digital economy.
