Sunday Market – Christmas Delights Lights Up Chennai
Chennai: The festive spirit came alive at the Sunday Market – Christmas Edition, curated by Hamsa Satish of Jupiter Events & Style Center, at the Abirami Chidambaram Community Hall, Kotturpuram. The one-day exhibition-cum-sale drew enthusiastic crowds and featured over 60 stalls, offering a vibrant mix of fashion, lifestyle, jewellery, accessories, home décor, organic and eco-friendly products, wedding essentials, and festive treats.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Kanimozhi NVN Somu, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Vikram Cotah, CEO of GRT Hotels & Resorts, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Purvi Dugar, Chairperson of JITO Chennai Ladies Wing and transformational life coach, attended as Guest of Honour. Special invitee Sneha Mohandoss, philanthropist, speaker, politician, and founder of FoodBank-India and ThalaiWE, added to the distinguished presence.

From piping hot filter coffee and mocktails to artisanal crafts and organic products, the market offered a wholesome blend of tradition and creativity.

The lively atmosphere turned the market into a “Shop-Date” for shopaholics, who spent their Sunday supporting local entrepreneurs while soaking in the festive cheer. The event highlighted the growing popularity of community-driven markets in Chennai, blending commerce with culture.
