MRF Ranked India’s Most Valuable and Strongest Tyre Brand; Among World’s Top Three Strongest Tyre Brands

Chennai: MRF Tyres has been ranked as India’s Most Valuable and Strongest Tyre Brand and has also secured a place among the Top Three Strongest Tyre Brands in the World, according to the Brand Finance India 100 – 2026 report.

The report was released on July 13 at an event held at The Taj Mahal Palace & Towers, Mumbai, under the theme “Powering India’s Global Ascent.” It evaluates India’s leading brands across sectors including automobiles, hospitality, banking, food, and oil and gas.

According to the report, MRF is also ranked among the Top 50 Most Valuable Brands in India across all industries. The combined brand value of the Top 100 Indian brands featured in the report has crossed USD 236.5 billion.

In addition, the Brand Finance Tyres 25 – 2026 global report ranked MRF among the Top Three Strongest Tyre Brands worldwide, with a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 87.7 out of 100.

The rankings are based on Brand Finance’s evaluation methodology, which follows ISO 10668 and ISO 20671 international standards. The assessment considers both financial brand value and brand strength, including factors such as consumer trust, brand familiarity, reputation, marketing investment, and business performance.

According to the report, MRF’s performance was supported by its extensive distribution network, long-standing relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), established brand reputation, product portfolio, involvement in cricket and motorsports, and strong consumer recall and loyalty.

Commenting on the recognition, K. M. Mammen, Chairman and Managing Director of MRF Tyres, said the rankings reflect the trust placed in the company by customers across India. He added that the recognition reinforces the company’s focus on safety, innovation, and serving the transportation needs of individuals and businesses.

The latest rankings further strengthen MRF’s position in both the Indian and global tyre industry, highlighting its continued presence among the country’s leading brands across sectors.
