World Youth Skills Day: TCFM Highlights Need for Future-Ready Skills in Facility Management

Mumbai: On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day 2026, Dharmvir Singh, Country Head of Technique Control Facility Management (TCFM), highlighted the growing importance of skill development in the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) sector as technology continues to transform workplaces.

In a statement, he said the future of facility management will be driven not only by smart buildings but also by a skilled workforce capable of managing increasingly technology-enabled environments.

According to him, capabilities such as digital operations, predictive maintenance, sustainability, and customer experience have become essential for delivering resilient and future-ready workplaces.

Dharmvir Singh noted that continuous learning, practical exposure, and the ability to adapt to changing customer expectations are key to developing talent in the sector.

He also referred to TCFM’s Gurukul, the company’s training centre operating across five states, where employees receive training aimed at preparing them for both current and future requirements of the Integrated Facility Management industry.

The statement was issued as part of the observance of World Youth Skills Day, which is marked annually on July 15 to promote the importance of equipping young people with the skills needed for employment, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
