MMA Inaugurates 24-Hour Management Carnival in Chennai
Chennai: The Madras Management Association (MMA) has inaugurated a 24-hour non-stop management carnival at the MMA Management Center in Chennai as part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The programme, which began at 10.30 am on September 24, will continue until 10.30 am on September 25. The event is built around the theme “70 Skills – 70 Themes” and features more than 70 professionals, trainers, coaches and domain experts.
Sessions cover areas including leadership, communication, decision-making, emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, negotiation, resilience, teamwork, and health and well-being.
MMA President and Saint-Gobain India Managing Director A R Unnikrishnan said the 24-hour programme was intended to make management learning accessible on a continuous basis.
MMA Executive Director Gp Capt R Vijayakumar (Retd), VSM, said continuous skill development was important for professionals adapting to a rapidly changing business environment.
The programme is being broadcast live through MMA’s digital and social media platforms.
The carnival will conclude at 10.30 am on September 25 with a valedictory address by Ramji Srinivasan, former Head – Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Indian National Cricket Team. His session will focus on “The High-Performance Mindset: Lessons from Sport for Leadership, Resilience and Success.”
The event is open to MMA members by invitation.
