Orkla India Named Among Top 100 Best Workplaces for Women 2026
Mumbai: Orkla India Limited has been recognised among the Top 100 India’s Best Workplaces™ for Women 2026 in the Large Category by Great Place To Work® India.
The recognition highlights the company’s initiatives focused on women’s participation, leadership development and equal opportunities across its corporate and manufacturing operations.
Orkla India’s See Her Empowered (S.H.E.) Policy provides a framework for women’s professional development and career advancement. The company also runs learning and development programmes, mentorship initiatives and targeted hiring efforts to increase the representation of women across functions.
Women account for more than 70% of the workforce at several of Orkla India’s manufacturing plants, where they are involved in machine operations, quality management, production and team leadership.
Across its eight manufacturing facilities, the company has also introduced initiatives such as forklift driving training to support women’s participation in technical and traditionally male-dominated roles.
The company said its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives remain part of its broader people strategy, with a focus on improving opportunities for women across different levels of the organisation.
