Women Empowerment Stories Shine at ABP Network’s India @2047 Summit

Bengaluru: The ABP Network’s India @2047 Summit featured inspiring stories of women empowerment in the “Tech for All – The Digital Democracy” session. Women from marginalized backgrounds shared their journeys as skilled technicians and entrepreneurs, captivating the audience with their transformation stories.

Empowering Women through Technology

  • Jaswinder Kaur (Drone Didi): “The Modi government chose women like us to be empowered, and today, we stand before you as Drone Didis.” She has sprayed across 1,500 acres and credited the government’s support for her success.
  • Sunita Sharma (Drone Didi): Initially scared of drones, she now operates them, covering 500 acres, mainly spraying urea for irrigation. She praised the efficiency of drones in agriculture.
  • Sunita Devi (Solar Didi): Transformed from a homemaker to a technician, earning over a lakh in a year. She shared her journey of learning about solar panels and gaining respect in her community.
  • Devki Didi (Solar Didi): Shared how solar energy improved her family’s fortunes, enabling them to help farmers and earn a significant income.
  • Ramilaben Parmar (Lakhpati Didi): Highlighted the impact of agricultural technology, renting out machines to others and improving land quality.
  • Vaishaliben Gadiya (Lakhpati Didi): Spoke of her journey sparked by adversity during the COVID-19 period, becoming a symbol of empowerment and inspiring others.

The ABP Network’s India @2047 Summit aims to bring together influential voices to map India’s journey toward becoming a fully developed nation by the 100th year of its independence. The summit serves as a platform for dialogue, vision, and strategy, shaping India’s future narrative.
