FICCI Organizes 4th Edition of Real Estate Infrastructure Summit & Awards in Chennai

Chennai, August 2024: The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) successfully hosted the 4th edition of the Real Estate Infrastructure Summit & Awards (REISA) at Chennai. The summit aimed to discuss various aspects of the real estate sector, benefiting small to large promoters, channel partners, and other stakeholders.

The inaugural session featured Bhupesh Nagarajan, Co-Chairman, FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council and CMD of Indira Group of Companies, who delivered the welcome and theme address. He emphasized the importance of investing in tier-two cities like Madurai and Tuticorin, highlighting the government’s developmental initiatives in Tamil Nadu.

Anuj Puri delivered the keynote address, sharing insights on the global real estate scenario, including the large volume of empty office space in the USA. He highlighted India’s abundant talent potential, attracting foreign investors, and Tamil Nadu’s preference as an investment destination due to its culture and cost efficiency.

The summit featured a report unveiling by Anarock, titled “City Lead – Land Services,” presented by Sanjay Singh. Panel discussions followed, covering topics such as land opportunities, commercial and flexible workplaces, warehousing, industrial and logistics, digital transformation, and residential real estate.

A detailed presentation by State Bank of India officials highlighted various loan provisions available to moderate to large real estate developers and consumers.

The concluding session featured Bhupesh Nagarajan and Mohamad Ali, emphasizing the market potential for real estate in Tamil Nadu. Nagarajan highlighted government initiatives to attract investors and growth potential for the real estate sector.

The summit concluded with meritorious awards presented to various developers under different categories, followed by group photos. FICCI extended its gratitude to all participants.
