Miss Universe Skincare & Spa Names Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth as Regional Director for Asia
Chennai: International skincare and MedSpa brand Miss Universe Skincare & Spa has appointed Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth of BM Healthcare Group as Regional Director – Miss Universe Skincare Asia, as the brand plans expansion across Asian markets.
The appointment was announced in Chennai by Olivia Quido, CEO, Miss Universe Skincare & Spa and Vice President – Global Operations, Miss Universe, along with Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth and plastic surgeon Dr. Rajinikanth.
The development follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Los Angeles on August 26, 2026, laying the groundwork for the brand’s expansion in Asia.
BM Elite International Clinic in Velachery, Chennai, will serve as the Asia headquarters. It will support regional brand development, partnerships, franchise opportunities and market expansion.
The initial markets identified for development include India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam. Additional markets may be considered in later phases.
The Asian expansion will cover the Miss Universe Skincare retail portfolio as well as the development of Miss Universe Skincare & Spa MedSpa locations in selected markets.
Olivia Quido said the company aims to bring its skincare products and professional MedSpa services under a common international platform, with Asia forming an important part of its expansion plans.
Dr. Hemamalini Rajinikanth said the initiative will focus on establishing the brand in Asia while maintaining its international identity and standards.
