Parachute Advansed launches three coconut-based hair oils in Tamil Nadu
CHENNAI: Parachute Advansed has introduced three new hair oils in Tamil Nadu, featuring curry leaves, hibiscus and rosemary as key ingredients.
The new range comprises Parachute Advansed Coconut Curry Leaf Hair Oil, Parachute Advansed Coconut Hibiscus Hair Oil and Parachute Advansed Coconut Rosemary Hair Oil. According to the company, the products are made using pure coconut oil and undergo a 10-hour slow-cooking process.
The Coconut Curry Leaf Hair Oil is positioned for long, black hair, while the Coconut Hibiscus Hair Oil is intended for healthy, shiny hair. The Coconut Rosemary Hair Oil is formulated for long and strong hair.
The company said the range draws on traditional hair-oiling practices associated with ingredients such as curry leaves and hibiscus, while rosemary has also been incorporated into the new formulations.
Ashish Goupal, Chief Executive Officer – India Core Business, Marico Limited, said consumers are increasingly looking for haircare solutions that combine familiar ingredients with convenience. He added that the new range is intended to adapt traditional haircare practices to contemporary lifestyles.
Dr. Shilpa Vora, Chief R&D Officer, Marico Limited, said the products were developed around ingredients that are already familiar to consumers. She noted that preparing such traditional hair oil formulations at home can be time-consuming, and the new range aims to offer them in a convenient format.
The launch is part of Parachute Advansed’s efforts to develop haircare products based on traditional practices and consumer preferences in Tamil Nadu.
