Peps Industries Opens 135th Great Sleep Store in Chennai’s Mannivakkam
Chennai: Peps Industries has expanded its retail presence in Tamil Nadu with the launch of its 135th Great Sleep Store at Mannivakkam in Chennai.
The new outlet adds to the company’s existing retail network in the state and is aimed at improving customer access to a range of sleep products and accessories.
The store was inaugurated in the presence of S. Rajesh, General Manager – Sales, Peps Industries, along with guests and members of the local community.
Located on Vandalur-Walajabad Main Road in Mannivakkam, the outlet has been designed as an experiential sleep centre where customers can explore various mattress categories, including spring, foam and coir mattresses. The store also offers pillows, mattress protectors and other sleep-related accessories.
According to the company, the retail format enables customers to compare products, understand comfort technologies and assess different options based on individual requirements.
Peps Industries has also introduced four new product series during the year — Peps Comfort, Peps Supreme, Peps Restonic Memory Foam and the Peps Superior Spring Range. The company stated that the products are designed to cater to different comfort preferences and support requirements.
Commenting on the expansion, G. Shankar Ramm, Managing Director of Peps Industries, said Tamil Nadu remains an important market for the company, while Chennai continues to be a key growth centre. He noted that the new store is intended to provide customers with a more personalised mattress-buying experience and greater access to the company’s sleep solutions.
Spread across approximately 1,000 square feet, the exclusive outlet functions as an interactive retail space where customers can evaluate product features and comfort levels before making purchase decisions.
The launch is part of Peps Industries’ ongoing retail expansion strategy, with Tamil Nadu continuing to be one of the company’s major growth markets. The new outlet further strengthens the brand’s presence in Chennai and the surrounding suburban areas.
