Raksha Bandhan Drives Rise in Searches for Florists, Gift Shops and Other Gifting Categories: Justdial

Mumbai: Searches for businesses associated with Raksha Bandhan gifting recorded year-on-year growth across India, according to data from Justdial Limited. The analysis compares search volumes from August 2025 to July 2026 with the corresponding period from August 2024 to July 2025.

Florist searches recorded the highest growth among the categories analysed, increasing by 28% across India. Bangalore registered the highest growth in the category at 34%, followed by Chennai at 28%, Hyderabad at 27%, Mumbai at 26%, Delhi at 23% and Pune at 22%.

Searches for gift shops increased by 27% nationally. Mumbai recorded the highest growth at 34%, followed by Ahmedabad at 24% and Pune at 21%. Delhi registered a 19% increase, while Hyderabad and Chennai each recorded 14% growth. Bangalore saw a 13% rise.

Searches for dry fruit dealers grew by 16% across India. Delhi recorded the highest increase at 40%, followed by Hyderabad at 38%. Pune recorded an 18% rise, while Kolkata and Mumbai registered increases of 17% and 14%, respectively.

The data also showed a 16% increase in searches for Rakhi dealers across India. Jodhpur recorded the highest growth at 27%, followed by Delhi at 24% and Jaipur at 16%. Kanpur and Udaipur each recorded a 13% increase, while Surat registered 12% and Hyderabad 10%.

Searches for cake shops increased by 13% nationally. Chandigarh recorded the highest growth at 38%, followed by Delhi at 20%. Pune recorded a 12% increase, Hyderabad 11%, Chennai 10% and Bangalore 9%.

The year-on-year figures indicate increased search activity across both traditional Raksha Bandhan categories, such as Rakhi dealers and dry fruit sellers, and other gifting-related categories including florists, gift shops and cake shops.
