Southern Spice at Taj Coromandel Showcases Kerala’s Culinary Delight

Chennai: Southern Spice, the iconic South Indian specialty restaurant at Taj Coromandel, is inviting guests to embark on a culinary journey to Kerala with a special showcase of Appam and Stew. From July 1st to 15th, 2025, the restaurant will feature a delicious menu crafted by Executive Chef Sujan Mukherjee, highlighting the culinary essence of Kerala.

The menu boasts a variety of soft, lacy appams paired with fragrant stews, showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of Kerala’s cuisine. Some of the highlights include:

  • Appams: Poruma Podi Appam, Vellam Appam, Thengai Appam, Melagu Appam, and more
  • Stews: Beans And Edamame Stew, Malabar Chicken Stew, Chemeen Pepper Stew, and more
