Stonehill Technofest 2026 Showcases Young Innovators in Coding, Making and Racing
Mumbai: Stonehill International School hosted the two-day Stonehill Technofest 2026, bringing together over 400 students from 13+ schools across India for a celebration of technology, innovation and creativity.
Participants from cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kochi and Warangal competed in three flagship events — Hackathon, Makeathon and Formula 1 RC car racing. More than 60 teams took part in the Makeathon, 40 teams in the 24-hour Hackathon and nearly 45 teams in the RC car racing competition.
Students designed tech-driven solutions, built functional prototypes and engineered remote-controlled race cars for a thrilling 10-lap contest on a specially designed track.
Joe Lumsden, Head of School at Stonehill International School, said the event provided students with an opportunity to solve real-world problems, collaborate in teams and pitch innovative ideas to experienced judges.
Technofest continues to grow as a sought-after platform for young innovators to test their skills in a high-energy, competitive environment.
