Phoenix Marketcity Chennai Hosts ‘The Beauty Experience’, A First-of-Its-Kind Lifestyle Festival
Chennai: Phoenix Marketcity Chennai has launched “The Beauty Experience,” an immersive beauty and lifestyle festival aimed at redefining experiential retail by bringing together fashion, glamour, and Gen Z culture under one roof.
Positioned as a first-of-its-kind event in the city, the festival features large-scale installations, interactive zones, curated pop-ups, and visually engaging décor designed to appeal to young consumers and social media audiences.
A key highlight of the event is a record-scale lipstick installation, created exclusively for the festival, alongside a range of beauty-themed art displays, styling corners and experiential spaces. Organisers said the event is designed to offer a mix of creativity, retail engagement and entertainment for visitors.
The festival also includes a series of masterclasses led by industry experts, including sessions by Daniel Bauer and Namrata Soni, scheduled across the week.
In addition, a fashion and beauty showcase inspired by Prasad Bidappa will feature curated runway presentations blending couture, music and storytelling within themed lifestyle sets.
As part of its youth-focused programming, the event introduces “Rev & Radiance,” a segment dedicated to Gen Z culture. The showcase includes luxury superbikes, participation from the Porsche community, live DJ performances and curated food and beverage experiences, combining elements of fashion, speed and music.
Organisers described the festival as an initiative to create a platform for self-expression and consumer engagement through immersive experiences that go beyond traditional retail formats.
“The Beauty Experience is designed as a celebration of creativity, beauty and evolving youth culture, offering visitors a new way to interact with lifestyle and fashion,” the management said in a statement.
The event, running from May 9 to May 17, is expected to draw significant footfall and is positioned as one of Chennai’s major lifestyle and retail attractions this season.
