Kalyan Jewellers Opens New Showroom in Chennai’s Ashok Nagar; Prabhu Ganesan and Malavika Mohanan Attend Launch
Chennai: Jewellery retailer Kalyan Jewellers has inaugurated a new showroom at Ashok Pillar Road, Anna Main Road, Ashok Nagar in Chennai, further expanding its retail presence in Tamil Nadu.
The showroom was inaugurated by actor Prabhu Ganesan and actress Malavika Mohanan in the presence of company representatives.
According to the company, the new outlet houses jewellery collections across multiple categories, including its in-house brands such as Muhurat (wedding jewellery), Mudhra (handcrafted antique jewellery), Nimah (temple jewellery), Glo, Ziah, Anokhi, Apoorva, Antara, Hera, Rang, and Lila, catering to different customer preferences.
Speaking at the event, Prabhu Ganesan said he was pleased to be part of the showroom inauguration and noted that the brand has built its reputation on trust, transparency and customer service.
Actress Malavika Mohanan expressed confidence that customers in Chennai would welcome the new showroom and appreciate the jewellery collections and customer service offered by the brand.
Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director of Kalyan Jewellers, said the new Chennai showroom has been launched to meet the evolving requirements of customers by providing a comprehensive jewellery shopping destination while continuing the company’s focus on trust and transparency.
To mark the launch, the company announced introductory in-store offers, including discounts on value addition for select jewellery purchases for a limited period. The company also stated that its Special Gold Board Rate would be applicable during the launch period.
Kalyan Jewellers said all gold jewellery sold at the showroom is BIS hallmarked and undergoes multiple purity checks. Customers will also receive the company’s 4-Level Assurance Certificate, which includes details on gold purity, lifetime maintenance, product information, and exchange and buy-back policies.
The launch is part of Kalyan Jewellers’ continued expansion strategy to strengthen its retail network in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu.
