34 Academicians and 13 Entrepreneurs Honoured at CEM-SEA Excellence Awards 2026 in Chennai

Chennai: A total of 34 academicians and 13 entrepreneurs were honoured at the CEM-SEA Excellence Awards 2026 (3rd Edition), organized by ARPR Events in association with Makkal Kural Newspaper, at the Tamil Virtual Academy Auditorium (TVAA) in Chennai.

The awards recognized outstanding contributions made by professionals in the fields of Commerce, Economics, Management, and Entrepreneurship.

The event was attended by K. Saravanakumar, Consul General of Malaysia in Southern India, who served as the Chief Guest and presented the awards to the recipients. Addressing the gathering, he congratulated the awardees and appreciated the initiative to recognize the achievements of academicians and entrepreneurs.

The function was presided over by Jeevanandam, Director of Makkal Kural.

C.K. Kumaravel, Co-Founder of Naturals Salon & Spa, participated as the Special Guest and presented the awards to entrepreneurs.

During the event, Pavalar Tamilan Ragulgandhi, Dr. Bindu, Dr. A. Mariyappan, and Dr. K. Maran addressed the audience. They highlighted the vital role of teachers in nation-building and emphasized the importance of recognizing excellence in education and entrepreneurship.

This year’s edition of the CEM-SEA Excellence Awards honoured 47 recipients, including 34 academicians and 13 entrepreneurs, for their achievements, dedicated service, research contributions, leadership, innovation, and excellence in their respective fields.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by N. Krishnamurthy.
